# Understanding the Dashboard
The Gatekeeper Enterprise dashboard is your central control panel for managing workflows, monitoring activity, and accessing core features.
## Dashboard Layout
- **Top Navigation Bar** – Quick access to key sections and profile settings.
- **Sidebar Menu** – Access to features, administration tools, and reports.
- **Main Content Area** – Displays dashboards, job lists, and configuration screens.
- **Status Indicators** – Display service status and notifications.
## Customization
You can rearrange certain dashboard widgets to better suit your workflow. To customize:
1. Click **Customize Dashboard** in the top-right corner.
2. Drag and drop widgets into your preferred positions.
3. Click **Save Layout**.
**Note:** Customization options may be limited by your user role.
